Munsoor Alvi BDS (Dundee)
Principal Dental Surgeon
Dr Alvi graduated from Dundee Dental School in 2003 and completed his vocational training in Alexandria, Scotland. Having worked for a year in practice just outside Glasgow, he then proceeded to find employment working between two dental practices, one based in Larkhall and the other in Glasgow City Centre. This allowed him the opportunity to gain experience providing general and cosmetic dentistry to both a rural family-based practice and also a high-needs practice in a city-centre location.
Dr Alvi therefore has over 16 years’ experience in providing treatment on a large variety of patients including the elderly and infirm, children, and those with special needs. The treatments he provides range from minor fillings and dentures to more complex cosmetic dental aesthetics. He is able to offer a broad range of treatment options, both on the NHS and Privately, and strives to give patients a full range of alternatives before proceeding with whatever the patient desires.
Dr Alvi is well known for his meticulous and organised nature so don’t be too surprised if your check-up appointment is longer than you’re used to as he tends to examine teeth with a fine-tooth comb.
Outside of work, Dr Alvi is an avid reader and has a particular interest in politics, although please don’t start a conversation with him on this subject as he’ll never let you leave. He enjoys cold bright winter mornings (but not the ice on the car windscreen), has a keen interest in architecture and DIY and would love to renovate an old Georgian house one day.
Maha Razik BDS (Dundee) MFDS RCS (Edinburgh) Dip Con Sed (Newcastle)
Principal Dental Surgeon
Dr Razik graduated from the University of Dundee in 2003 and spent the next few years working as an Oral Surgeon in various UK hospitals, including University Hospital Aintree, the largest Maxillofacial Surgery unit in the UK. She then decided to enter general practice and spent a year working in Cheshire prior to moving back to Scotland. Whilst working in General Practice she treated many anxious and nervous patients, and this led her to complete a Diploma in Conscious Sedation from the University of Newcastle in 2014, thereby allowing her to offer anxious patients the option of having treatment performed under Sedation.
Dr Razik holds several academic diplomas and attends hundreds of hours of continuing education to stay up to date with the latest techniques and procedures. She stays at the top of her field and is an ongoing student of aesthetic dentistry, having recently undertaken world-renowned specialist courses in cosmetic dentistry. Dr Razik brings all of her knowledge, training, passion and vision together to provide the highest standard of care for her patients and demands the very best at every turn as she fulfils her passion for facial aesthetics to artistically create natural personal smiles.
Dr Razik enjoys the Scottish outdoors, travelling, running and spending time with her three children during her free time.
Mahaa Razik BDS (Honours) MFDS RCPS (Dundee)

Hanaa Rehman BDS (Dundee)
Associate Dentist
Hanaa graduated with commendation from Dundee University in 2007. With 16 years of dedicated experience in general dental practice, she thrives on the diversity it offers and is passionate about partnering with patients to enhance their oral health. Her special affinity lies in providing support to anxious patients, witnessing their transformation into more confident individuals over time.
Moreover, for the past 15 years, Hanaa has been a pivotal member of the emergency dental service at Glasgow Dental Hospital. She remains committed to ongoing education and skill development. Beyond her dental career, Hanaa finds relaxation in creating cozy crocheted blankets during her spare time.
