Ceramic Veneers
A smile that doesn’t make you feel wonderful is not worth settling for!! We work with the best ceramists in the UK to fabricate state-of-the-art Ceramic veneers. Our goal is to make your veneers look so natural that they cannot be detected! Ceramic veneers can transform your smile from changing the colour, shape and length of your teeth to changing the alignment and position.
If your natural dentition has white spots/ dark stains, or if you have uneven, overlapping and chipped teeth or maybe even if you have a diastema (a space between the upper front teeth), then veneers may be an amazing solution for you.
Veneers are thin shells of ceramic or porcelain that are placed on the anterior (front facing) surfaces of the teeth, in some cases veneers can provide the same benefits aesthetically as expensive orthodontic work. At Main Street Dental Clinic in Coatbridge, we pride ourselves on having a close working relationship with the world’s top ceramists to create custom made veneers.
What to Expect
3 Appointments
FIRST APPOINTMENT
We may take photographs, discuss your unique smile needs, and assess facial and dental symmetry. We may also take impressions and make moulds of your teeth to evaluate your bite but also to allow our ceramist lab to fabricate a customised wax up.
SECOND APPOINTMENT
At a later visit we fully anaesthetise the affected teeth and then minimally contour the teeth, after which final impressions are taken and you are sent home with temporary veneers. The ceramist will begin to create your customised veneers.
THIRD APPOINTMENT
The custom-made veneers are tried in and checked for margins, bite and aesthetics. You will have the chance to evaluate them yourself for fit, feel and aesthetics in your mouth prior to adhesion. Once all have been approved, they will be bonded in place. Final photographs may be taken at this visit or at a later visit.
